Well the rain has settled in again for what looks like another week. I'm over the wet stuff, even if it is Winter, I don't care!!! Well there's my whine for the day. Anyway here are a couple of regulars from the backyard, photographed from the dryness of the dining room.
The Eastern Rosella was puffing himself up to keep the others away from his feed. Never seen them behave in this way before. The Rainbow Lorikeet, well he's just soaked :-)
That is always a pleasure for an EU birdwatcher to see those kind of birds as backyard species. How funny and lovely. We just dream of a colorful neighbor like a Rosella.
