Western NSW bird adventure - Day 6

Day 6.

The sound of rain and thunder before sunrise made me want to pull the sheets over my head and pretend it wasn’t really happening again. Alas, another day of rain made my day’s travel decision easy...head towards home.

A brief visit to the Nyngan STW and out to Box Cowal before pointing the car east for the long drive back to Medowie. Only a couple of photos taken because of rain but still a reasonably sized list for the journey.

Highlight of the day was watching Fairy Martins collecting mud for their nests from a roadside puddle.

Species seen between Nyngan and Medowie.
