Baby birds and Forest friends

Very little time for outings lately. I think I have spent two hours in two weeks with the camera and am looking forward to a good outing soon.
Springtime of course and our little Red-capped Plover chicks are growing up fast. Mums and Dads are still very watchful of course :)

Had a quick trip into the forest across the road from home and found species I never see in there. Spotted Pardalote for one, though they never came down from the canopy. One keen visitor was a Yellow-faced Honeyeater.

  1. Hi,

Nice shot on the Yellow-faced Honeyeater.
I have seen one before. Great catch.
